Before conducting UX research, the development scenario was characterized by a gap in understanding the needs and expectations of its users. Although the product was widely used by a specific audience for work purposes, there was no clear definition of user profiles, their technological experiences, needs, motivations, and the challenges they faced.

The lack of concrete data regarding user activities and their primary responsibilities in their work context created uncertainty in defining priorities for product improvements.

Furthermore, the absence of feedback and tangible data about the user experience led to decisions based on subjective perceptions, often disconnected from reality. This situation resulted in functionalities that did not fully meet the end user's expectations and negatively impacted their trust in the product and its efficiency.

Overcoming this lack of information and obtaining solid data to guide decision-making and enhance the user experience was crucial to making the product more efficient and satisfying for its target audience. UX research serves as a fundamental tool to fill this gap and boost the product's quality and competitiveness in the market.
