Problem Statement

The process of integrating new employees into a company is crucial to ensuring the adaptation, productivity and engagement of these employees. However, many companies face difficulties when conducting the onboarding process.

Consequences

This is an important problem because if the onboarding is not done properly, it can lead to employee dissatisfaction, lack of communication with the team, doubts about the company and its processes, and consequently, an increase in the turnover rate.

This can generate financial costs for the company, as well as loss of productivity and extra pressure on the team.

Employee retention is fundamental to the stability and growth of the organization, and high turnover rates can result in reputational risks and misperceptions by new customers and employees.

Therefore, effective new employee onboarding, including socialization and proper communication, is essential to reducing turnover rates and the costs associated with replacing employees.

Our Goal

The objective of this project is to use gamification to offer a more interactive, engaging and effective onboarding experience for new employees, allowing them to feel integrated into the team and motivated. With this, we also intend to reduce turnover rates and replacement costs.

For this study, we will focus our attention on technology companies and, more specifically, remote onboarding of digital product development professionals.
